Adhesive Backed Boat Lettering

When creating a graphic to attach to your boat it is important to use adhesive backed vinyl to ultimately produce the design. We use Oracal adhesive backed vinyl on all of our decals which translates to a long lasting durable graphics. In order for vinyl to stick it must be adhesive backed, the adhesive used on vinyl is more like a glue than traditional bonding agent you see on stickers. This means when you initially stick your decal to your boat you will have a window of an hour or so where the adhesive is still not fully bonded to the surface. Once full bond has occurred then it becomes difficult to remove the lettering without special tools or chemicals. In reality this is a GOOD thing, it means your lettering will be stuck for a long time!
