We are now offering 3D domed boat lettering. Domed boat lettering is essentially a raised resin coating that really makes your lettering stand out (literally). Also known as "drip molding" this process is able to be done to any of the lettering you design on the site.
What can you dome?
All our of domed lettering is custom made in house. The domed option is available on our designer for anything you design. This includes not only one color, but you can mix and match shadows and outlines, standard and specialty vinyls to make something truely unique for your boat.
Domed Registration Numbers?
Yes, we can even dome registration numbers. The registration numbers are a requirement by law and can often be an eye sore on that fancy boat. Why not dress them up a bit!
Domed Graphics?
We can also dome any of the graphics on our site. Domed graphics will be flood filled instead of filled directly on the color. The picture below is an example of a flood filled graphic.
Other helpful information
Our resin is completely transparent allowing the color or texture of the vinyl to still be completely visible. When the resin fully cures it is not completly solid. This allows you to place the lettering on something not completly flat. However, this also means you cannot place domed lettering over gaps or rivets. Our resin is both weather and chemical resistant.
